I know I shouldn't complain, as it's nothing compared to most of the country's land mass, but Jesus Christ. I'd like to be able to get into town someday soon.
Anyone else going insane? |

As someone who's lived her entire life in New England, it's kind of amusing to see the Northwest unable to handle snow- still, I have to agree. It's been a few days so it's fine now, but for a bit there it was frustrating to come home from college and but not be able to see anyone. _________________

You have to take into account that this is very uncommon weather (for the larger metropolitan areas,) and it would be incredibly wasteful to prepare for this weather every damn year. I'm sick of people bitching about this in particular. These are the same people who bitch about gas tax increases.
You also have to take into account (the large amount of) people from the southwestern states. I've worked with Californians who think it's time to pack it up when there's a light drizzle. I think the sun must cook their brains... |
